Home network
Setting up a home network now couldnt be easier. If you have a broadband router especially if its wireless you can set all the computers in your house to join in a network. If you have been given a usb modem by your internet service provider (i.e Tiscali or AOL etc) and you have been with them for over a year you need to ask for a FREE wireless router.
If they say no just ask for your MAC code and tell them you are going to another company. They will soon send you one out and if the don't then change to someone who will! Existing Computers whether they are desktops or laptops can then access the internet via the wireless. (Desktops can be made wireless for about £25) If you are all connecting to the internet then it means you can all share any printers in the home and swap files from pc to pc if you want to. We can set this up for you and advise of ways to use your network, like backing up and sharing when it is completed.
